  • CANCELLATION POLICY

    We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for all cancellations & rescheduling of appointments.

    Failure to do so will result in a loss of deposit or 50% appointment fee — paid before / added to your next appointment.

    An appointment no-show will result in a $100 fee paid before / added to your next appointment.

    If there is an emergency or you are unwell please let us know so we can reschedule your appointment.

  • APPOINTMENT REMINDERS

    SMS reminders are automatically sent 3 days before your appointment.

    You are able to message this number for 7 days (back & forth) before it regenerates via our online booking system.

  • SHORT HAIR (Above Chin)

    Unfortunately as we do not specialise in short hair cutting — we do not offer short hair cutting services above chin length.

    We recommend our favourite short hair specialists at Small Batch Hair for anything shorter.

  • PARKING

    Due to our location, we are unable to offer designated parking — we recommend the following convent options:

    Wilsons Carpark (Hay St)

    Coghlan Road (next to Officeworks), Hay St & York St

    FREE — 2 hours max

    WEEKDAY — 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

    SAT — 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

    Roberts Road (near the high school)

  • RUNNING LATE

    If you are running late please let us know as soon as possible & we will try to adjust our appointment schedule.

    General rule:

    If you are more than 15 minutes late we will do as much as we can with the time remaining.

  • REFUNDS

    We will always take specific care to discuss your appointment in detail during your consultation, prior to beginning your service.

    In the unlikely event you are not feeling 100% happy with your service we gladly offer a complimentary adjustment appointment — to ensure you are feeling & looking your best!

    Because of this process we do not offer refunds at Elle Maison.

  • HAIR EXTENSIONS

    Products:

    All products (including shampoo, conditioner & styling products) MUST be free of proteins, keratin, amino acids & sulphates.

    These ingredients will damage the integrity of all extensions.

    Sunscreens can turn lighter extensions pink — avoid sunscreens with Avobenzone & Octocrylene.

    Extensions aren’t nourished by your scalps natural oils — hydrate with serum / oils, for blonde hair use clear oils to avoid colour changes.

    Protect:

    To maintain strand integrity — brush knots out of your extensions before wetting / washing.

    Wash 1 - 3 times per week — if daily washing is needed, wash only the crown or use dry shampoo.

    Do not sleep with wet extensions — dry the scalp & top of the extensions to prevent shedding.

    Get your extensions adjusted every 6 - 8 weeks to maintain their look & health.

    Swimming:

    Avoid Chlorine as it can dry out your hair, not just your extensions.

    Use a mask or leave-in conditioner on your mid-lengths & ends when swimming.

    Always rinse hair after swimming.

  • LASH AFTERCARE

    Regular Brushing: Brush your lashes morning & night with your spoolie.

    Be Gentle: Do not rub, tug or pull on the extension.

    Avoid Mascara: If needed use only lash extension-safe mascara on the tips, not the base.

    Regular Cleansing: Gently cleanse lashes every few days to remove oils & dirt.

    No Oil-based Products: Use oil-free makeup removers & cleansers around your eyes.

    Heat & Steam: Avoid direct heat & steam on lashes.

    Refills: Stay on-top of your refill schedule!
